Part 1, tanks and troops advance through Normandy hedgerows under cover of aerial and artillery bombardment. Motorized columns advance through ruined villages. German POW's, including Mongolian troops, are marched to the rear. German corpsmen tend their wounded. Part 2, Marines go ashore in landing craft from an invasion fleet off Guam and advance inland with artillery and tank support. Gen. Smith inspects the front lines. Shows ruins and Japanese dead. Part 3, Gen. MacArthur and Adm. Nimitz go aboard a cruiser to meet President Roosevelt at Pearl Harbor and later meet with Adm. Leahy and F.D.R. ashore. Part 4, Andy Varapapa teaches WAVES to bowl in N.Y.C. Part 5, shows a V-1 bomb in the air and the ruins caused by it in London. Shows Londoners in air raid shelters.
